KRYPTUS IS FEATURED IN A GLOBAL STUDY AND ESTABLISHES AS A CHALLENGER IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET
Kryptus, a Brazilian multinational specialized in cryptography and cybersecurity, was the only Brazilian company among the main global payers of the HSM market selected by ABI Research to participate in its last study, Hardware Security Module: Original Equipment Manufacturers.
In the study, ABI Research, a global research company specialized in technology, evaluates in an objective way the most prominent providers of Hardware Security Modules (HSM) in the world. The assessment was made considering two criteria: current implementation of the product and future innovations, also examining customization flexibility, as a service options, partnership ecosystems, market strategy, new application, among others.
Among the various features rated, Kryptus featured in the partnership ecosystem and the implementation capability in IoT and blockchain, in addition to being currently the only player that offers KMIP embedded, allowing any application to utilize HSM functionalities without the necessity of installing drivers or libraries.
Thus, Kryptus has shown structure and strength to equally compete with foreign HSMs companies, some of them established in the market for many years. According to the researcher director of ABI Research, Michela Menting, “Kryptus is an emerging startup that successfully expanded beyond the domestic market to compete in the international arena. Exceptions like Kryptus are rare in the HSM market. The company is on the way to a successful expansion, with a converging platform and a cloud service with competitive prices”.
In a general perspective, digital transformation pushed the HSM market to change and modernize rapidly, and it has been responded promptly. Beyond the traditional functionalities like key management, PKI, authentication, and identification, HSMs have started to offer highly flexible solutions, and with the same cryptographic protection for cloud migration, 5G connection, blockchains, IoTs, and quantum computers. Another point to emphasize is that HSM transversality allows the most different economic sectors to benefit from the security that this technology offers, building a secure, trustworthy, and highly adaptable digital ecosystem.
“The result of ABI Research study reinforces Kryptus’ innovation competence in always going beyond threats and, at the same time, its flexibility to attend the diversity of applications and market segments with a secure, reliable and last generation technology”, points out Roberto Gallo, Kryptus CEO.
